Arrows
Archery is our profession but also our passion
Medieval or historical archery is far from being a forgotten discipline or one solely for experimental reconstruction.
Today it is called traditional shooting or instinctive shooting.
The traditional bow is bare, without sight or stabilizer, requiring the archer to gauge, breathe and maintain maximum concentration to master their position.
La Forge du Sanglier, in collaboration with the JLS sculptor and cabinetmaker workshop, offers you custom archery equipment, arrows or crossbow bolts , to your length, your power (spine) and your colors!
Do not hesitate to contact us for your questions and orders.

In Norway, an Iron Age arrowhead still bearing its feathers and sinew was discovered in 2019.
An arrow over 1700 years old, probably used for reindeer hunting.
It is currently being studied to determine which bird the feathers belong to and which animal the tendons come from.
It is currently dated to between 300 and 600 AD.
It is the best-preserved arrow found to date.
(According to the GÉO magazine)

The passion of archery
